GHS was Federally chartered in 1940 and Community-charter in 2002.  For 69-years, we have provided members with quality financial services at an affordable cost. As a member, you are part owner of the credit union, a financial cooperative, democratically controlled by its members/owners and governed by a volunteer board of directors. GHS embraces the fundamental philosophy of the credit union movement - not for profit, not for charity, but for service.
