GHS Offers FREE Tax
Preparation!
GHS Federal Credit Union is assisting low income individuals and
families this tax season by providing free tax preparation to
community members. February 1st through March
31st.
In 2009, if your total household income was less than
$49,000, you may be eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit and
FREE income taxpreparation. Both federal and NYS tax returns will
be electronically filed FREE of charge. There are no hidden
fees!!
Items to bring with you to your
appointment:

Photo ID's for you and your spouse
(spouse must be present at the appointment as well)

Social Security cards for all listed
on your tax return
-
Exact birth dates for all
listed
-
All yearly wage and income statements
and W2's
-
A copy of last year's income tax
forms (if possible)
- Clients must bring a check copy from their checking account to
verify direct deposit
