As a member-owned federal credit union, GHS succeeds when our members succeed; We thrive when our community thrives. To do our part during this pandemic, our staff worked diligently to offer our community’s businesses the Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program loan.
We are proud to announce that GHS was able to commit $738,000 to 27 local small businesses, with a collective 110 employees, to provide them the support they need to keep going.
Without our small businesses, we would not be the great community we are. We are inspired by your determination, and we will continue to be here to help you attain your goals.
The SBA Paycheck Protection Program (SBA PPP) is a grant funded loan that aids small businesses in establishing, and maintaining, financial stability during the pandemic. The SBA PPP loan provides businesses with funding to keep their staff employed and pay for other business related costs.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, GHS has remained an essential business, providing our members with drive-up banking, online and mobile app banking solutions, and more recently, in-person meetings by appointment. As always, our member services team has been on-the-ready to take calls and assist our members in any way possible during these uncertain times.
