GHS Federal Credit Union will hold a special “GHS Youth Day” on Saturday, April 8th, from 10:00 am until 1:00pm, at its Norwich branch, located at 35 East Main Street in Norwich.

The event will kick off National Youth Savings Month, which promotes the benefits of money management for kids, at early ages. Parents and their children are invited to open a GHS Piggy Saver’s Club Savings account during April.

“GHS Youth Day” will feature a free Car Seat Safety Check, sponsored by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Department. Additionally, contributions of non-perishable food items can be dropped off at GHS to help support the Norwich City School District’s Backpack Program.

Join in on the fun as Magic 101.7 will be live at the branch to help spread the word and provide music for everyone.

For more than 70 years, the GHS Federal Credit Union CU has provided service to its membership. Federally chartered in 1940, GHS was community-chartered in 2002 to serve Broome, Chenango, and Tioga Counties in New York.
