Southern Tier Home Show for Charity – October 1st

This event takes place at the Knights of Columbus Hall on October 1st from 10am to 4pm. Featuring 40+ local businesses giving back to the Community, including the Zoo Mobile, Police K9 Demonstrations, Free Sam’s Club Hot Dogs and MORE! Not only is this unique event FREE ADMISSION, all proceeds benefit local charities.

Tioga Business Expo – October 6th

This year’s event will be open to the public to walk around and meet over 100 businesses within the region. There will be a silent auction for the public (as well as vendors) to participate in by purchasing raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes. Be sure to stop by the Owego Treadway Inn to get in on all the action; the Business Expo takes place on Thursday, October 6th from 9am to 3pm. We would love to see you there!

Meet & Mingle with Your Financial Advisor – October 7th

GHS will be having a “meet & greet” event at our Main Branch on Front Street for Gregory Cornelius, our on-site financial advisor. Stop in between 10am-12pm or 2pm-4pm to meet Greg, have some coffee and snacks and set up your appointment to discuss your financial goals. Wherever you want to go in life, we’ll help you get there!

Banzai: Financial Literacy Program – October 14th

We are excited for this awesome program to start back up again. Whenever school is in session, GHS partners with local high schools and after-school programs to educate our youth about Financial Literacy. October 14th will be our first session, and we already have 2 more scheduled for the remainder of October. Teaching our children the importance of financial literacy will have a profound impact on their lives and their ability to provide for their future while avoiding debt.

Norwich Pumpkin Festival – October 28th & 29th

What’s better than FREE family fun and entertainment at the local Pumpkin Festival in Norwich?!? We are looking forward to sponsoring this two-day event to celebrate Fall. Bring your family and friends and head to East and West Parks in downtown Norwich, both Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th! Throughout the two-day event, East and West Parks will display the sights, sounds and smells of fall.
