Behavioral Services at Cayuga Medical Center
Half of all Americans will experience a mental illness during their lifetimes. Mental or emotional problems affect every aspect of life. If you become overwhelmed, or cannot function day to day, or become dangerous to yourself or those around you, it may be helpful to seek inpatient care. Cayuga Medical Center has two Behavioral Services units, one for adults over the age of 18 years, and one for adolescents between 13 and 17. They provide individualized care in a warm, supportive environment. They’re there to help you understand the problems you have been experiencing and to work with you to make your life more manageable.
Brooktondale Community Center
Founded in 1964, the Brooktondale Community Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization serving the Town of Caroline, NY. The Brooktondale Community Center is located in the heart of Brooktondale, 12 minutes southeast of Ithaca. It hosts a summer camp for children, a Farmers Market, the Caroline Food Pantry, the annual Brooktondale Apple Festival, a Live Music & Dance series, and frequent potlucks, yoga classes, and special events for kids. With a large playground, walking path and open field on the back property, multiple pavilions, easy parking, 2 buildings and 2 kitchens, it's a great place to hang out, to join an activity, or to rent for a private gathering.
Caroline Food Pantry
Anyone in the Town of Caroline is welcome! Food distributions take place on the first and third Mondays of every month between 5 PM and 7 PM at the Old Fire Hall, 522 Valley Road, Brooktondale, NY 14817

Creative Hub 4 Cultures
The Creative Hub 4 Cultures (C4C) is a grassroots community collective and home to the Alliance of Families for Justice Central NY Office, the Indigo Rising Collective, and Civic Ensemble Theater Group. This work is ever expanding and currently may take the form of: Movie and discussion nights, Decolonial reading groups, healing justice workshops; Free Markets with fresh produce and herbs from Indigo Rising’s community garden ; Meeting space for the Alliance of Families for Justice’s Men’s and Women’s groups; Drags shows and dance parties to uplift our communities; Space for radical theater projects to take root; Recovery Meetings; and a place to breathe, be together, and sprout new visions for Black and Brown liberation in Ithaca.
Danby Food Pantry
The Danby food pantry is held at the Danby Community Church on the third Thursday of every month to distribute food to residents of the Danby community.
Van Dyke Addiction Treatment Center
Dick Van Dyke is a 30-bed treatment facility. Treatment services include group and individual therapy, didactic lectures and presentations which are used as a "teaching mechanism" so patients can learn more of the recovery skills needed to continue with abstinence and recovery. Services provided address the basic health care needs of each patient while addressing the specific physical, psychological and social symptoms associated with psychoactive substance abuse.

Dryden Kitchen Cupboard, located in Dryden, NY. This food pantry is located in Tompkins County, part of the Food Bank of the Southern Tier in New York State, serving the residents of the town of Dryden, NY.

The purpose of the Enfield Community Council is to promote the welfare and continued social and economic development of the Enfield community through continued sponsorships of programs for adults and youth in the community. UHS Hospital has one of the largest opioid treatment facilities in NY. Addiction medicine at UHS partners with other local hospitals, jails and other community organizations to train staff on how to deal with addiction and substance abuse. With direct access to medical personnel on staff they are able to prescribe medications to help those in need.
