Jason Aurelio, Chairperson
Mr. Aurelio has served on the GHS Board of Directors since July of 2017. Jason is employed with Sentry Alarms as the Director of Business Development. Sentry Alarms provides commercial and residential security and fire detection solutions for the Southern Tier and surrounding regions. Jason is responsible for new business and product development, client account management, and system engineering and design. Jason graduated from Chenango Valley High School in 2006 and Binghamton University’s School of Management in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership and Consulting. Jason is married to his high school sweetheart, Katelyn and resides in Hillcrest with their daughter, Evelyn. Currently, Jason is also the President of the Hillcrest Rotary Club as well as a Board Member for the Fenton Free Library and the Town of Fenton Planning Board. He is the past president of the local BNI (Business Networking International) chapter and former Board of Education Member for Chenango Valley Central School District. In his free time, Jason enjoys playing golf, cooking homemade Italian cuisine, and fishing on the St. Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands.
Leonard Lindenmuth, Vice Chairperson
Mr. Lindenmuth has served on the GHS Board of Directors since 2003. He served as chairperson of the board for several years. Leonard was the President / CEO of Healthlogic, Inc. of Binghamton, for more than 11 years. After transitioning his company into a large regional insurer, he has returned to his position of President / CEO of Healthlogic Inc., a healthcare consulting company with clients in New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Leonard is a published author in academic journals in the area of Healthcare Financing and Healthcare Delivery Systems. Leonard earned his Associate degree in liberal arts from Keystone College, his Bachelor of Science in healthcare administration from SUNY Cortland; and his MBA in management/finance from Chapman University. He has also completed course work toward his Ph.D. from Binghamton University. Leonard currently is a board member for United Methodist Homes and is the past president of the Mid-State New York Chapter for the American Heart Association. Leonard is involved in various charitable organizations and committees in the Greater Binghamton area.
Jeanette O. Tillotson – Treasurer
Ms. Tillotson has served on the GHS Board of Directors since 2010. Jeanette joined SUNY Broome Community College in 2001 as assistant controller and is currently Associate VP and Controller of the college. She served 16 years at Gannett Newspaper Group – The Binghamton Press prior to joining the college, after earning her B.S. in accounting from Binghamton University’s School of Management. Jeanette is responsible for finance, student accounts, financial aid, accounts payable, purchasing, payroll and mail operations for SUNY Broome. She was a major leader in the college’s migration to their new financial, payroll and student finance systems. In 2010, Jeanette was awarded the State University of New York Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service.
Antonio (Tony) Frontera, Secretary
Mr. Frontera has served on the GHS Board of Directors since 2016. Tony is a professor of entrepreneurship and marketing in the School of Management at Binghamton University and faculty advisor for Binghamton Enactus, a student organization focused on entrepreneurial activities. Tony serves as an adjunct instructor and mentor for the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps program and Site Director for Binghamton University’s I-Corps Site. He is an Entrepreneur in Residence for the Southern Tier Startup Alliance, a member organization of business incubators, whose purpose is to provide support to entrepreneurs starting and growing businesses in the Southern Tier of NY. Tony mentors and coaches’ entrepreneurs and startups in the region and is frequently asked to speak for various entrepreneurial organizations. Tony is a seasoned entrepreneur and marketer in the consumer electronics industry. He has over thirty years of marketing strategy, business strategy, business development and consumer communication experience at both his own retail business and mid-sized corporations. He served in marketing management and business development capacities at McIntosh Laboratory, Inc., where he was responsible for branding, distribution strategy and customer communication in the luxury consumer electronics industry. Before this, Tony held positions as; VP of Business Development, Northeast Regional Training Manager, and Account Manager for companies in the Photographic and Printing industries. Tony volunteers his time for the Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs of Binghamton and currently serves as Board President. Tony holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Binghamton University.
Scott Cohen, MD
Scott Cohen, MD joined the GHS Board of Directors in 2019. Dr. Cohen has been a Family Physician with Bassett Healthcare Network since June of 2000 and the Network Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) since 2013. Dr. Cohen is dual-boarded in both Family Medicine and Clinical Informatics, and sees hospitalized and ambulatory patients as well as performs administrative roles throughout the Bassett Network. Dr. Cohen chairs several Bassett committees in addition to serving on the boards of At Home Care (Home health agency) and HIXNY, a NY State Health Information Exchange. Dr. Cohen is passionate about driving growth and innovation as well as large project /change management and relationship development. In his spare time, Dr. Cohen enjoys cycling, home remodeling and snowshoeing, as well as volunteering as a pilot for the Civil Air Patrol (USAF Auxiliary.)
Ben Giordano is a Binghamton, NY native who went on to get a BS in Marketing Management at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in 2008. Throughout his professional career Ben has been involved in many technology-focused businesses including management consulting, internet and data marketing, and digital agency services. In 2011 Ben founded FreshySites – Website Design. Since inception, FreshySites has grown exponentially into the largest WordPress focused web design agency on the east coast. Ben’s obsession with customer service and support, WordPress best practices, and process-driven design continues to flow through the whole FreshySites team. When Ben is not with the FreshySites Team you can usually find him hanging out with his wife and four children in Upstate NY
Brandon Sunderlin, CPA
Brandon Sunderlin, CPA joined the GHS Board of Directors in 2020. Brandon is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. where he served as an infantryman during numerous combat operations in both Afghanistan and Iraq. He is a partner in the accounting firm Johnson, Lauder & Savidge, LLP and joined the firm after working for the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young. He is a graduate of Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting. He is a member of both the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Brandon has served in various capacities within the Southern Tier Chapter of the NYSSCPA and is a past president of the chapter. He has taken an active role in the community and has previously served local not-for-profit organizations in various capacities. In his free time, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and three sons.
