Who can apply?
GHS members are eligible to apply to the scholarship program through GHS. If you are not a member yet, join today! Anyone who lives, works, attends school, worships or volunteers in Broome, Chenango or Tioga County, or anyone who is related to someone meeting those qualifications, are eligible to join GHS.
Where do I apply?
Download and fill our the application here on our website, then submit the application to the online portal with supporting documents.
What if I miss the deadline?
Unfortunately the deadline is a final date. We will not accept any applications past the date specified.
How do I get my verification code?
Call GHS at 800-732-4447, and ask for the verification code for submitting an application.
Can I win both scholarships?
Yes! While we offer both opportunities through GHS, the NYCUA scholarships are selected by their panel, while GHS board and executives select the winners of our scholarship. You are able to win both!
Do I need two (2) applications for both scholarships?
No, you only need to complete the application and submit your materials to the NYCUA site. We will receive all of our applicants from them to select our winners with the same materials and criteria.
