GHS FCU Awards Five Scholarships to Local High School College-bound Seniors
Binghamton, NY — At GHS Federal Credit Union, supporting the success of young people in our community is at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to announce that five outstanding local high school seniors have each been awarded a $1,000 college scholarship as part of our ongoing commitment to financial education and community engagement.
These scholarships were awarded to students from Chenango Forks High School, Norwich High School, Sherburne-Earlville High School, and Susquehanna Valley High School, representing some of the brightest, most driven young individuals our region has to offer. While we don’t share personal details out of respect for their privacy, we are excited to support their journey as they take the next step toward higher education.
Our annual scholarship program reflects this mission by providing direct financial support to help ease the burden of rising college costs. But our support doesn’t stop there — through financial literacy programs, educational resources, and community outreach, GHS works to ensure that young adults are prepared to make smart financial decisions now and in the future.
We congratulate all of this year’s scholarship recipients and wish them the very best as they begin their college journey. Together, we’re building brighter financial futures for the Southern Tier — one student at a time.
